Since 1983, the 100% veteran-owned Silicon Designs has served as leading industry experts in the design, development and manufacture of highly rugged, industrial- and inertial-grade MEMS capacitive accelerometers and chips with integral amplification. Accelerometers feature highly rugged designs for zero-to-medium frequency instrumentation requirements, with full-scale sensitivities from ±2 g to ±1000 g. Within standard ranges (±2 g to ±400 g), most Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometers continue to perform to specification after exposures to 5,000 g and in limited temperature exposures to +175°C.
As the OEM of our own MEMS capacitive accelerometers and chips, Silicon Designs is able to provide exclusive benefits to our customers which are otherwise absent from the industry.
